Physical Therapy also known as Rehabilitation in veterinary medicine, primarily for cats and dogs. This includes Shock Wave treatment, Laser Therapy and sessions in our Underwater Treadmill.

How do I know if my pet needs rehab?

Does your pet have arthritis, an injury, are they in need of weight loss or have they had a recent surgery? Talk to your veterinarian about rehab for your pet. Your veterinarian will prescribe rehab if your pet is in need!

What is a Modality in Rehab?

 A modality is a way of treating an ailment, injury, condition or sign of disease in our pets. For example, massage, shockwave, laser therapy, acupuncture, underwater treadmill or therapeutic exercises are all examples of rehab modalities. 

Where are you located ?

Rehab Vet Tech is a locum business that brings Rehab for Pets to local veterinary clinics in Alamance, Durham and Orange Counties. We do not have a building we work out of but we have a state of the art mobile rehab facility!

What do I need to get my pet Rehab ?

Rehab Vet Tech works with your Veterinarian to fill prescriptions for Rehab Therapy for your pet. Rehab Vet Tech will work for your vet to ensure your pet receive the best rehab care possible.

Who performs the therapy for my pet?

After your veterinarian prescribes rehab and approves a treatment plan for your pet, our Rehabilitation Practitioner and Registered Veterinary Technician, Morgan, will perform the treatments as prescribed.
