How does Rehab Vet Tech treat my pet?
We work in collaboration with your pet's veterinarian! We first perform a comprehensive orthopedic exam and then consult with your pet's veterinarian to create a rehabilitation treatment plan. Once your pet's veterinarian prescribes your pets rehabilitation treatment plan, Rehab Vet Tech will fulfill the treatment plan. The rehab treatment plan is a prescription from your veterinarian, the treatment prescribed will be performed under the oversight and supervision of your pets veterinarian. Your pet's veterinarian will be kept updated every step of the way throughout your pets treatment.
Who is the Veterinarian at Rehab Vet Tech, LLC?
Rehab Vet Tech does not employ a Veterinarian. Rehab Vet Tech, LLC is owned an operated by Morgan Hamscher who is a Registered Veterinary Technician in NC. Morgan is not only a RVT but she has extensive training and continuing education hours spent in pain management, osteoarthritis and veterinary rehabilitation. She is supervised by your pets veterinarian during their treatment. Your pets treatments will be performed at your veterinarians clinic unless the veterinarian directs otherwise. Morgan is currently in the final stages of completing her certification in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee. Morgan is also currently perusing her Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in physical rehabilitation and certification in veterinary pain management (CVPP) through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
How to book an appointment with Rehab Vet Tech?
There are two ways to book an appointment with Rehab Vet Tech, LLC, the first is contacting your pet's primary care veterinarian and ask for a consultation with Rehab Vet Tech and your veterinarian will contact Rehab Vet Tech and we will schedule a consultation. The second way is to contact Rehab Vet Tech and we can connect with your veterinarian on you behalf and set up an appointment for a consultation.
