Morgan Hamscher, RVT, FFCP

Owner and Rehab Practitioner

Late in 2023, Morgan created a small veterinary rehabilitation business; Rehab Vet Tech, LLC. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2003. She started by volunteering at the Burlington Alamance Animal Shelter shelter and fell in love with veterinary medicine right away! Morgan has been a shelter volunteer, kennel assistant, vet assistant, practice manager and she is now a Registered Veterinary Technician! Morgan graduated from Penn Foster College, Magna Cume Laude, then took the VTNE and got registered in the State of North Carolina in 2020. She is Fear Free Certified and encourages cooperative care techniques with her patients. Morgan is in the final phase of the University of Tennessee’s Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Program. She is also currently pursuing the Veterinary Technician Specialty in Rehabilitation and the Veterinary Pain Practitioner Certification through International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
In the past 4 years, she has performed over 100 hours of continuing education in pain management, anesthesia, rehabilitation and Fear Free medicine. Morgan is the owner and current rehabilitation practitioner of Rehab Vet Tech, LLC. Morgan created this business for several reasons, the main reasons being the lack of rehab options in our local area and her deep passion for helping her patients heal as fast as possible whilst being fear and pain free. Rehab Vet Tech, LLC will be here to meet the veterinary rehabilitation needs in Alamance, Durham and Orange Counties.
Morgan feels that all patients should have reasonable access to affordable and gold standard care. Rehab Vet Tech, LLC will travel to local veterinary clinics to consult, collaborate and work diligently with the hospital’s team to treat patients that need rehabilitation or unique pain care options.
Rehab Vet Tech is currently accepting new patient referrals.
